Push notifications for new mail in notification center

I want to see the sender, subject and body of a new message in the notification center or as a banner.

    This is such backward . Not having a notification alert for email? I can't even see summary of how many unread emails are with few line. Black Berry was much better for emails. I used it for many years and compared to that OWA is in Cave.

    Please have something done! Gosh, i can't believe they can halt such an important function. If people are missing their mails without notification, will they be using your app?

    i push deactivated in the new 2015 OWA? i switched to iphone recently, but neither outlook for iphone nor OWA for iphone are syncing automatically in the background.
    i the Iphone settings - all background activity is on
    how may i activate push email/calendar sync/...
    i use office 365

    Is this close to being fixed? Left a 1* rating, as this is a pretty big blunder to be overlooked.

    Notification badge was working perfectly. As from the end of November 2014 it no longer works. Is there a fix?
    It was very useful to know how many emails would need to be dealt with. JRB.

    Audible or banner Email notifications would greatly improve practical functionality of the app.

    Audible and lock screen notifications are a must have. Please fix this as it severely limits the functionality of the app

    agreed, this needs to be fixed asap. how does one do business in this instant gratification society without being notified/alerted to new emails. total nonsense that ms hasn't figured this out?????
